About Jamieson Travel

Hello, I'm Wendy, and all four of my maternal great-grandparents came to the US from what is today the country of Slovakia. I first began my journey to Slovak citizenship by descent in 2023 by acquiring all of the necessary documents. I submitted my application in October of 2023, and I became a Slovak citizen by descent in October 2024. My anchor ancestor is my great-grandfather, and he came to the US is 1912.

I started Jamieson Consulting with a simple goal: to help people obtain freedom of movement by obtaining the right of residence in Slovakia through either Citizenship by Descent (CBD) or the Slovak Living Abroad Certificate (SLA). Citizenship within one EU or Schengen country gives you the right of residence in all 31 EU/Schengen countries.

At Jamieson Consulting, we offer a wide range of services to make your experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. From step-by-step assistance with US documents to having them officially translated and ready to submit with your application. We also offer in person interpretation services for those who wish to apply in Slovakia, as well as relocation assistance for those wishing to relocate.
