Some prospective clients aren't familiar with travel agent service fees, and while some agencies have always had fees, they have become increasingly more common since Covid. This is because the expertise, experience, and knowledge provided by travel consultants is so valuable. Likewise, many aspects of what a travel consultant does are uncompensated. Covid brought that to light when travel agents were having to cancel all of their clients reservations. This caused a total loss of commissions because a travel agent isn't paid if, for whatever reason, the client doesn't follow through with the travel. The agent receives no compensation for their work if the client doesn't first book with the agent, and then secondly follow through with the travel. Of course, not all suppliers pay commissions to begin with - this is especially true with airlines. In addition, most travel agents are required to split their commissions with their host agencies.
Charging a nominal consultation fee allows us to focus 100% on our clients that are serious about booking their travels with us. We have an average "return call time" of only 3 hours (during regular business hours, and 24/7 for clients actively traveling). This means that when you reach out to us, you will most likely hear back from us that same day. And, being a small business allows us to provide personalized service from start to finish. If you need assistance, you will always speak with the same person. We are not employees of a larger company who may quit, causing you to be shuffled to another customer service rep.
We also understand that prospective clients may have some general travel questions or are looking for an idea of whether their ideal destination or trip is within their price range. For this reason, we offer all prospective clients a FREE 30-minute consultation before committing to any service fees. This will allow us to answer some questions about your ideal vacation, discuss your budget, and see if we can help you put together the perfect vacation - before you spend a single penny.
Keep in mind that you are only charged for services that you request. For instance, if you are researching & booking your flights, then you will not pay the "flight planning/booking fee".
We do offer some exceptions to our initial consultation fee!

Consultation & Service fees apply AFTER your initial FREE consultation. This includes travel within the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico), Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. All consultation fees are pre-paid and non-refundable. You only pay for the services you want. Consultation fees are waived on our advertised deals and packages (cancellation fees still apply). Non-group reservations totaling more than $10,000, the $99 is refunded within 48 hrs of departure.
Includes: Single city destination*, for up to 6 people. Flight planning & booking NOT included. Extra people are $15pp.
*The Florida Keys & Key West: We consider any part of "The Florida Keys" to be a "single city" even though there are multiple cities within The Florida Keys. For example, stay 2 nights in Islamorada, 2 nights in Marathon, and 2 nights in Key West, which is 3 different cities, for the single city fee of just $99.
For all cruises starting and ending in The US. This includes US repositioning cruises. For example from Tampa, FL to Seattle, WA. Includes port excursion planning. Up to 6 people.
Includes: This is for trips that include multiple cities. For example, You start in Orlando, FL for 4 nights and then move to Anna Maria Island for 3 nights on the beach. The initial service fee covers Orlando research & planning, plus an additional $55 for the additional research & planning for Anna Maria Island.

A service fee in the amount of $100 will be charged for each roundtrip ticket. This is because airlines don't pay commission so in order to be compensated for our work, a service fee must be charged - if we research and book your flights.
We will walk you through an entire road trip with easy-to-use tools to make your trip as "pothole-free" as possible! Sightseeing, places to eat, places to sleep (hotel OR camping!), scenic roads vs HWY route options, and more.
Includes planning US/Canada road trips, for up to 10 nights, for up to 6 people, and up to 7 planned activities/excursions. Detailed map planning also included.
This is for any group of more than 6 people. Each additional person above 6 is an additional $15.

Itinerary planning and booking for 1-3 cities, up to 10 nights, for up to 6 people. Includes planning and booking of up to 5 activities/excursions, and 3 accommodation quotes per city. **Does NOT include flight planning/booking.
This is for sea or river cruises, regardless of the amount of ports. Includes excursion planning. However, if you require hotel research/planning in your starting or ending port, then the "additional cities" service fee will also apply.
One of the advantages of having a travel agent is that we can help direct you to correct information on government sites. This will help ensure you have all the documents, visas, vaccinations, etc. required for entry into your destination(s). We provide this assistance as a courtesy to our clients, however, following through with the required obligations is the responsibility of the client.
We are NOT responsible for obtaining such travel documents for you.
Each additional city: $99
Each additional night beyond 10 nights: $25
A service fee in the amount of $100 will be charged for each roundtrip ticket. This is because airlines don't pay commission so in order to be compensated for our work, a service fee must be charged - if we research and book your flights.
For groups over 6 people. $50 per person over 6 people on international travel.
Due to the loss of commissions for agents that occur in the cancellation of bookings, a cancellation fee will be charged for cancelling your travel plans. Understandably, this is done to ensure agents are paid and compensated for their work. We understand that emergencies arise and ALWAYS VERY STRONGLY ADVISE THAT CLIENTS OBTAIN TRAVEL INSURANCE THAT MAY COVER ANY POTENTIAL LOSSES OR PENALTIES THAT MAY OCCUR DUE TO THEIR CANCELLATION.
A cancellation fee in the amount of 15% of the total booking amount through our agency.
For example, if we only booked your accommodations for you for 4 nights, and the total booking cost was $800, your cancellation fee would be $120. As an additional example, if your total booking/trip was $10,000, your cancellation fee would be $1,500.
WE VERY STRONGLY ADVISE THAT CLIENTS OBTAIN TRAVEL INSURANCE THAT MAY COVER POTENTIAL LOSSES OR PENALTIES THAT MAY OCCUR DUE TO THEIR CANCELLATION.
